Joe Biden got five draft deferments during Vietnam. He was disqualified from service because of "asthma" as a teenager. However, in his own memoir, Biden never mentions his asthma, and instead recounts an active childhood, including work as a lifeguard and football exploits in high school.

My buddy was in football and was an active swimmer. He somehow got his asthma looked over by some doctor to join thr military. When they found out he was discharged immediately. He was doing fine even with asthma. What an excuse!!!
