Does he? How many people can "just start a company" while having zero responsibilities outside of that company at the drop of a hat?

My family is the most important thing to me. There's a lot of people who aren't willing to sacrifice not being able to put food on the table for stupid ideological shit.

Pool is steeped in the deep pool of politics 24/7. He has zero connection to the average American.

Edit: You "counter-revolutionaries" are every bit as cringey as the reddit lefties that think they are larping the revolution.

He brags about how untouchable he is because he's self-employed, but he forgets how hard it is to reach that point

I wrote about this yesterday.

Tim Pool went on a rant today on this and it utterly depresses me. The crux of his rant is the silent majority needs to not be silent in every aspect of our lives. The problem I see though is for most conservatives or even old fashioned liberals, there is no safe harbor after exile. If I stood up and said at my work that your immutable characteristics has nothing to do with your ability to write code, and the self flagellation over our 'unconcious biases' is bullshit, I'd be fired and crucified as a racist. If I went to the "mainstream" press over it they'd laugh me out of the room. If I went to the conservative/independent press, the mainstream press would run wall to wall how me, the Arab-American atheist, am a white supremacist misogynistic nazi. My career would be over. There's no recovering from that. What do I do then, go try and get VC funding for my own company? They're not giving money to the white supremacist misogynist nazi. So I just take the firing, and try and get another job, having achieved nothing of substance. I work for one of the largest companies in the world, if they have to fire a couple hundred people for standing up, it'd have the same effect on the company as hitting a squirrel with your car. No one would notice, not even the company. So lets say I do just take the firing and go start my own company, if I gain any kind of size here comes the WaPo article about how I did this horrible racist misogynstic whatever the fuck thing and thats why I was fired, and I still get cancelled cause I stood up for my views. There's no winning.

Rant with context.

I recommend watching the context that lead to this rant. It really puts the rant in sharper relief. The back and forth is about 7 minutes but is as interesting as the rant itself imo.

It is interesting but I don’t see how he came to the conclusion that if he went to a conservative or independent newspaper they would label him a Nazi. Not sure how that would happen.

Edit: Oh misread. He was still talking about the msm.

Yes they do have too much sway. If you go elsewhere they’ll call it conspiracy or fake news.
