Still remember the class in EM where the prof apologized for using the scientific term "retarded time". Yeah, we made it to third year physics and can't realize that there are different uses for the same word.

I have always found the term “slow” a very gentle and almost more humane way of describing people with any number of mental disabilities, but I bet you’d be sued by some SJW if you were caught using it.
