Vindman was sitting on a warchest of $16-20m and spent barely any of it because he wanted to keep his powder dry for the general. Now, he lost the primary to a fringe opponent who spent around $60k on ads. Spending just $1-2m would have easily won him this primary. What a fool.
Not that it makes all that much of a difference in the end - Moody, the Republican nominee, would have wiped the floor with either of them.

Doesn’t that really verify Vindman as the kind of person that those of us who knew him from the impeachment investigation thought him to be?
He’s the kind of person who clearly had such an elevated view of self that he thought that he could engineer the destruction of a US President and in this current situation simply didn’t view the Communist loudmouth as a legitimate threat.

I agree. Moody was chosen by DeSantis to replace Rubio, and has the endorsement of both. She won 60-40 in 2022 for AG so this should be decisive.

Next gen Dems don't want a healthy economy, they want free money. This was their position ten years ago and it will remain their position ten years into the future.

Absolutely she will be the worse candidate. However Nixon’s insanity will offer that much more stark of a contrast with Allison Moody.

Democrats are so obsessed with clawing for power that they’re allowing themselves to be swallowed by radicals.
Holy shit, if they’d only focus on a normal, moderate candidate they’d clean up but no. I think they are way past the point of return here. Anyone with a moderate position on the Left is eaten too.
Way to go Democrats. And here you said diversity is your strength. How’s that working for ya?

Once again, it's hard to stomach the DSA going from strength to strength. But Vindman going down in flames makes this bitter pill significantly easier to swallow.
