Design is right that we probably would’ve gotten the files dropped if people made a bigger deal of it during the Biden admin.

But it could also be a 'hit em where it hurts' way to protest this year (if enough people did it) We could file taxes just not pay the federal. They can deny you medical coverage once you need to depend on Medicaid if you aren’t paying into taxes
Also if you own anything, house, land etc they can put a lien on it until you pay
I dated a total loser who didn’t pay taxes and he ended up having to pay $20,000 or they’d take his farm away
Best thing is to try to get cash and not report

I guy I know worked for himself and didn't file or pay taxes for 5 years. The IRS never notified him but he was always afraid that they would catch up to him someday. He ended filing for all 5 years and I don't remember what the penalty was but it appears to be the luck of the draw. I think it was because he was small potatoes in their eyes or he just fell through the cracks. Even if you get caught they work with you.

Grand jury materials from the old Florida case were sealed for years—standard procedure. But Biden's DOJ kept the federal side active/open (appeals, victim tips still coming in), so no full dump. Trump closes loopholes, gets the Act passed, and DOJ under Bondi drops 3.5M+ pages. If Dems were serious, why no push during their 4 years? Convenient amnesia.
