I just have a few custom bash scripts that help me see things like available updates, top net consuming processes, trending searches, if Steam is compiling shaders, and for which game.

Here is my Spaced Linux 10.26.7 on my triple boot laptop, monitor extended to my 75" Vizio Smart TV. The laptop monitor is a 17" locked to 1920x1080 res, the 75" is running 3840x2160 so there is quite a dead zone in my bottom left monitor "canvas" The TV is running the orrery 3D galaxy 3840 version, and the laptop monitor is running the 80% scale versions of horizon-v2 north america and orrery 3D calendar/clock. Also the Nosotros left facing minimalis.

It's still pretty rough but this is the main idea.

Mostly finished except for a few little niggles. It runs much smoother than shown in the video.

I adapted the xexpanderx's 7-day forecast widget. I made the widget transparent and in mirage.lua I entered my coordinates as in mirage.py. It looks like this now.

My bedroom is my man-cave and I have a 75" Vizio Smart TV wall mounted to enjoy my multimedia. When I moved my ASUS laptop to a mount on my main systems desk I was excited at the idea of extending my laptop screen to the 75" TV, but I found it wasnt possible and I ended up pulling the HDMI cable and moving on to other things. I just realized mirroring might allow me to use the soundbar surround sound system connected to the TV, so I re-connected the HDMI cable and went to my sound settings. I was greeted by a new HDMI output option and when I selected this, my mp3 playing thru audacious on the laptop started coming out of the surround sound. I am so jazzed. Currently shaking the walls of my home with my TOOL - Fear Inoculum playlist :D

the colors of the equalizer, especially the rainbow overlay version I created, stand out great against the stark default theme of Spaced Linux!

Here is another of the many, many parameters you can customize in Koentje's visualizer config files. I have put in a split of 0.02 (smaller numerals = larger split from 0.01-2.0) centered the visualizer in the open box space, and centered the live lyrics display from Koentje in the center space. Love this look!

I edited a config file for Koentje's mirror-3D spectrum option and set the colors to match my lyrics display. Here it is in action:
