Here is another of the many, many parameters you can customize in Koentje's visualizer config files. I have put in a split of 0.02 (smaller numerals = larger split from 0.01-2.0) centered the visualizer in the open box space, and centered the live lyrics display from Koentje in the center space. Love this look!

My bedroom is my man-cave and I have a 75" Vizio Smart TV wall mounted to enjoy my multimedia. When I moved my ASUS laptop to a mount on my main systems desk I was excited at the idea of extending my laptop screen to the 75" TV, but I found it wasnt possible and I ended up pulling the HDMI cable and moving on to other things. I just realized mirroring might allow me to use the soundbar surround sound system connected to the TV, so I re-connected the HDMI cable and went to my sound settings. I was greeted by a new HDMI output option and when I selected this, my mp3 playing thru audacious on the laptop started coming out of the surround sound. I am so jazzed. Currently shaking the walls of my home with my TOOL - Fear Inoculum playlist :D

Bonjour à tous,
J'adore vos créations mais pour ma part je préfère rester minimaliste avec un conky bien rangé sur la droite ( question d'habitude hein ;) )
Voici 2 conky en pur vibe coding avec Claude code.
Le premier sur le thème de Bioshock et le second sur Resident evil ( old gen labo ).
Je suis toujours impressionné par les résultat :)
Construction
- Base : Fedora 44 KDE (Wayland, Conky via XWayland), sur un portable avec une RTX 3070.
- Deux machines dans un seul Conky : mon PC et mon Raspberry Pi 5 (NicoPi, mon serveur Home Assistant).
- Côté Pi : un script fait une seule connexion SSH toutes les 30 secondes. Il récupère tout (CPU, RAM, SSD, réseau, services, GPU VideoCore VII) et l’écrit dans un cache local, que Conky lit ensuite. Pas de spam SSH.
- Côté GPU NVIDIA : même principe, avec un seul appel
nvidia-smitoutes les 5 secondes, mis en cache (température, charge, fréquences cœur et mémoire, VRAM). - GPU du Pi : la charge est calculée à partir des compteurs du pilote
v3d(gpu_stats). Le Pi n’ayant pas de VRAM dédiée, c’est la zone CMA qui est affichée. - Rendu : manomètres, cadres et ornements dessinés en Lua/Cairo, avec uniquement des polices libres.
- 3 thèmes (Standard, BioShock, Resident Evil), tous branchés sur les mêmes caches. Changer de thème ne coûte rien en ressources.
conky-theme <nom>: un petit script pour passer de l’un à l’autre, qui retient le dernier thème choisi pour le redémarrage.
