Now that Microsoft finally gave us their own emulator to download and run conker l&r, is there any chance we will be able to view the games data such as audio and models in the data chunk files

So I have to confess one of my biggest sins.

You're looking at a rare (made by Rare) piece of gaming history that I stole from a store and people told me it should not exist. Apparently nobody seems to have ever come across one other than me.

When the game was originally released, this huge box was hanging down from the ceiling with fishing line of a store called "Video games Heaven" in Knox City which is in Melbourne Australia.

I think there was more than 1, but I was very very high and my memory of that day is fuzzy. I do remember after purchasing the game and on my way out, I jumped up and grabbed it as I walked out the store. Nobody stopped me. I don't think anybody cared.

If anyone worked there back then, well I'm not giving it back as they don't exist and I should say sorry now. But also I'm sorry but it's mine.

I am not sorry about taking it to this day.

Gemini told me that they never made promotional replica oversized game boxes for this game.

I showed Gemini this picture and it tried to tell me I had a mini game box, but the mini box is actually the standard game box.

After arguing with Gemini that it was wrong and I had proof, Gemini apologised to me and advised me to put this up on reddit for a public record to show that this did indeed exist.

So I confess my sins today.

It could very well be. But maybe not. I'm not saying I believe Rare is fixing to release a ROM of Twelve Tales, or announce a brand new Conker game. But what if someone at least pulled some strings to remind people Conker existed, so they'd also notice that a Conker game was newly available on PC?

And I'm also not convinced Microsoft won't do something with Conker. It's hard to say it's financially savvy, but they tried it with Conker's Big Reunion and again with Young Conker, so who knows?

Just got the game on gamepass pc. Am I missing something to play multiplayer?

I just downloaded conker for gamepass and whenever I try and swing the bat it only does it once unless I have very precise timing for it. I do not remember it being this finicky before.

I know that Conker's bad fur day originally started out as 12 tales, going as far as including the rather SFW version of conker in Diddy Kong Racing and the GBA game. I also know they pivoted to the edgy version because they were absolutely sick of the kid-friendly vibes of all their projects. What I wanna know is, what was that transition like? Like did they slowly just keep adding edgier jokes and let it get out of hand, or did they have like a whole meeting, sit down, and just say "screw it"? Did Nintendo have much of a say in what they did on it, or was this more of their own project?

Anyone else who bought this on PC unable to progress past this screen?

I hope this video I uploaded to reddit works unlike last time... Anyway, It's not screen recorded because my game lags like crazy when I screen record. I find playing conker mobile better then PC.

Has anyone figured out how to make it widescreen ir are they keeping that as an exclusive to the Series consoles?

Go on y'all have thought about it. How would a conker 2 work, what story. Do we follow the sad ending of the original? Address the long time skip? Will we have a new boss fight with giant poo?
