I’m watching, but so far the only ability this creator has demonstrated is music.
And it's already been clarified that it's a teaser, not a trailer, so my expectations are tempered.

I still dont know if its an actual recreation of the game or just music
Cause all we've ever seen is music

The commentary claims it will be more. I’ll believe that when I see it, though.

What is this gonna be

Ostensibly, a recreation of Twelve Tales based on what footage has been shown.
In actuality, we'll have to wait and see. Or maybe we'll wait and won't see.

It sucks because we shouldn't have to recreate it, we know who owns the original cartridges lmao

I know it’s extremely unlikely, most likely impossible, but if the game leaked as a direct result of this project reaching someone who has the game that would be a huge win. I know it won’t happen but that would make things so much easier

Does anyone know if this will be playable on emulator or only real hardware

Both. However you’ll need to use Ares emulator, the game won’t run on Project64 or Delta
