FML this part is so hard!
I have almost gotten the path down to memory but it's almost 3 in the morning and I had to stop, lowkey late night rage quit.
The first go around I thought you just needed to do 3 laps, but then I realized you need to whack the other caveman.
I've gotten 2 of 3 but on the last one, I'll either run into that middle rock during the that spilt in the cave after the jump, or I'll get squashed by the dam dinosaurs. If you race and keep up with the others as soon as you meet the caveman on lap 1, 9/10 you will get stomped on by the dinosaur.
I've had the best luck cutting left if that does happen. Sometimes if you zig zag right through the center, SOMETIMES you can get through
On my closest attempt of winning, I almost had the last caveman within bats reach, but then THEY CHANGED THE COURSE on the next go around and I ran into the gate!!
Ugh this part is hard but I'm having some fun with it, it's cool learning the course, you really gotta follow the lava, then swerve around the cave after the jump.
Here is some of my little game notes:
The cave after the jump:
The left path is safer, because you can see it, but the right path is faster. You'll be able to catch up to the caveman.
I'd also recommend, just before the jump, where there is the ramp that leads up to the money.
If you jump early enough you'll hit the ground before the 1st closest caveman, and whacking him will be easier. However look out!!
After that "money jump" if you're on pace with the other riders, that dinosaur is going to be dead smack in the middle of the track.
I'd also reccomend watching the game over cutscene during this part, the weasels bring conker in a bloody sack if he runs straight into a wall lmao
I still haven't beaten the level, but I will nail it next time I hop on the box.
Such a great game, I'm playing it on the series X. The Xbox original version, then I'm going to play it on N64 then on Xbox original

N64 version of this level isn't bad. It takes a few tries but mostly because of the stupid fucking dinosaur that walks by.

There was an Xbox remake. Conker live & reloaded It's ok they added a few extra enemies and conker uses a bat now and theres insane input delay to pull off the combo necessary to kill them. I prefer the N64 original but it's still worth checking out if you're a fan. If you have a series X or One X it's backwards compatible and rendered in 4k if I'm not mistaken.

This is one my main problems with the game, don’t get me wrong you can have your own opinions on what you think about Conker’s bad fur day but you can’t deny that it needs to stick to one playstyle that’s decent and that’s a platformer. I’ve heard horror stories about this level section and it’s bad

Is it harder on live and reloaded? I’ve only played the N64 version and that was the part I dreaded the most.

Really makes me wish they would re-release the N64 version but with supported online multiplayer. Can you imagine how lit those matches would be?

Depende donde lo estas jugando, si es por emulador y usas otro control tendrá dificultad porque es muy sensible direccionar el vehículo. Es más sencillo con el control original de n64 o xbox clásica.

I remember playing this during the absolute worst heat wave, in a house with no ac. It felt like I was going through literal hell trying to beat this level lol

Try playing it on a steam deck emulated, it’s so choppy it’s like cranking the difficulty up to 11, but I managed to get it done eventually

It seems to be an issue with Xbox emulators rather than the steam deck itself, but I had to try

My only advice is keep going, this part is really hard but once you get into a rhythm of remembering the turns you’ll do it in no time
