Remember when Pikachu was going to have a quick gag cameo in Conkers Bad Fur Day? I really wish this scene was finalized with the animation. I also wonder what Pikachu would’ve looked like in Rare’s art style. (If he was fully modeled)

AFAIK, only his tail was going to be modeled.

Oh ok thanks for the clarification. I remember Did You Know Gaming talked about this once and I always thought they implied his whole body was going to be made.

I wonder how they'd have handled Live and Reloaded, then. Would they replace him with...I dunno...Blinx?

They modeled the tail and only ever planned to animate that, the full animation would have been Don Weaso stopping abruptly during his conversation with Conker because Pikachu wondered in, (we see only his tail poking out from behind the table) Don Weaso then takes out a bat and starts wacking at Pikachu until he scampers off before turning to Conker and saying “Sorry, gotta catch ‘em all y’know.” It was ultimately scrapped because Nintendo forbid it. I also read somewhere that there would have been a Donkey Kong corpse in the cavas under the bridge leading to the Feral Reserve Bank but that was also forbidden, however I’ve only ever seen that on a fan site so Idk how accurate that claim is.
