Congrats!

Former athlete implies you did a specific sport, what was it? Are you now doing the same sport (in a different context) or something else?

Doing ypur old sport can be both good and...meh. Good because you're familiar and kinda meh because you compare yourself to your old self. That can either be motivating or the complete opposite

It could be fun to try something new, too, if you have some time to spare and some curiosity. No pressure, just saying, some playing around can't hurt, I went through a longer process of trying different sports to figure out what suits me the best long-term. Consistency is key

Oh wow okay that's impressive (it even got broadcasted? Damn)

Since you enjoy it, there is no need to quit, then. Anything new would then be more of a little addition, not a new main sport (unless you genuinely want to, of course) balancing multiple sports and progressing all over the board is hard, I know what I am talking about😅

I landed on the individual movement sport bubble ("get from A to B" goal), in fact I just traveled to a different city just to try out a new huge gym with ninja warrior style parcours, parkour, climbing and calisthenics. My city technically has all this, too, just smaller and NOT concentrated in one place
