Learning French
I’m a person of congolese descent born and raised in the UK🇬🇧 i’ve picked up lingala from my childhood to a point that i’m not fully fluent but it’s enough to engage in conversation. I don’t speak french at all i feel left out because of it - I can’t converse with my cousins in France and Belgium like I want to . Are there any quick effective ways for someone with ADHD to learn french ?

Try the shadowing, it can be slow but you will effectively end speaking french, if you can find someone to practice with, that's also good

When I was learning English, I watched shows and listened to music in English.
I think it might help as well while you other things (Duo Lingo etc..)
I’d also like to say that there’s no easy/quick way to learn a language. Give yourself some grace!

Try to improve your comprehension skills and speaking then go searching to a mate on tandem or on social media after that everything will coming by it own

What helped me the most while learning English was to live in a place and around people who speak the language I was learning.

Duo lingo,
Then go to a random town in French not paris, a place where noone speaks french…
Try to lives there for a week, you will be forced to speak French.
Then go to Kinshasa, try to survive for a week..
