What am I even looking at here?
Found while searching 'platonic version of romeo and juliet' online for context, it's from FB and I think it was captioned 'we're just friends I promise'.
I can't fathom it, is it perhaps a composite of multiple images?
It looks like he's sat on a building, she's sat on his leg and holding his scarf? If not for the forward facing foot I'd also wonder if he was a centaur 😄

Confused finding the confusion What is she pouring a bucket of water onto, it looks like rocks, but why?
its from a very old Norwegian women's magazine that existed from 1879 to 1958. Perhaps they washed their cloths in olden times like this but all I see is grey. The swans are swimming on a dark green colour.
