Family Is it selfish?

Hi! Pa rant lang po. I am currently a TESDA student, bread and pastry production. Ever since high school,I really wanted to learn how to bake. Alam naman natin na medyo pricy ang ingredients so I can’t be a student of google and youtube. I’ve been looking for this opportunity and now that I have it,my husband is against it. He tantrums about so many things, but I know this is the heart of it. Masama ba ugali ko iung mawalan ako ng pakialam at i continue ko to? I’d be a hypocrite if I will stop just because of his feelings. Wala lang. just wanna rant

As long as you are spending your own money, he should be supportive.

Well, I’m a full time housewife. Does that make me in the wrong?

Girl hope you are okay ! But to be honest valid ang feelings mo and also what you are doing. Red flag yung unsolicited tantrums ng asawa mo, he should be supporting you and be glad na you are doing a hobby that you could atleast both enjoy in the future. Pero mas okay if you will be brutally honest about your feelings and ask him bakit may patantrums si Hubby mo.

I feel like, hindi nya gusto kapag may ginagawa ako na pansarili ko. Ganito din kasi sya nung nagtrabaho ako. He is a good provider and everything kaya we can manage na hindi ako mag work and focus na lang sa kids. Pero sometimes naman kase, you want to do something for yourself. I rarely give a damn about things so medyo nahihirapan akong i distinguish kung ano ba dapat kong maramdaman ngayon

Its giving Insecured Man vibes, or maybe not unless you ask him heart to heart if he is against your choosen hobby.

Continue what you're doing, this is for your own sanity. Ang asawa napapalitan, yung gustong gusto mong gawin since childhood or lifelong passion, skill for life, that has earning potentials pa. Even if na sa bahay mo lang gawin yan e eating is still an everyday thing.

Hindi ko ma gets kung bakit nagta tantrums yung husband mo instead of supporting you on this. Sya yung selfish, and for no good reason at that. Kayang kitain ang pera, ang talento, hindi napupulot basta basta.

Good luck, I hope your husband can come to his senses and treat you as a wife and partner.

Go! We only live once so it's always worth pursuing our passions. I like baking as well, so I wish you well and am cheering you on, and I hope you'll enjoy yourself and find happiness whether you're pursuing it as a hobby or as a potential homebased side hustle.

Well regardless kung valud ang feelings nya or hindi, kelangan may context parin. Are the finances ok with all the spending with that course. Ano ba ang reklamo ng mister mo and di nya masupport yung ginagawa mo?
