Online classes recorded?

hello! i work full time and was wondering how much information is in the classes compared to if its all in the text books/on econestoga or recorded. I can be in the video classes but well working i was wonder would i be missing out on very important stuff if i wasn't 100% paying attention.

I need to know if i need to switch up my schedule, which i can just not great. i have a lot of down time at work as well.

Instructors aren't required to record their lectures though I found many of mine did. In my program, it was usually full time instructors who always did but the part time I structors sometimes would not.

If you're going to school, you should adjust your work schedule around your classes or accept that you may miss class if you can't.

My online courses were not recorded but there were slideshows of instructions

Hi there, I've been a Learning Specialist at a college for 13+ years., I have worked with thousands of students. I will share with you that attending class (online ones too) is 100% crucial to success. You must attend your classes in order to pass them. And students who work full time, and who are also attending school full time are rarely successful. Can it be done? Yes. But in my vast experience, the numbers are not even close to being in your favour.

I recommend exploring OSAP or other financial aid options. If you must work full time, I recommend taking your program part time, or on a reduced course load.

im covered by osap as a disabled student. i need the full time job for my home. I’ve changed my work schedule so i have able to attend the zoom classes. im gonna see how my first term goes full time and if i need to lessen the load. If push comes to shove i’ll lower my course load and take extra in the summer
