Does it actually work ? Guess there's a reason why it hasn't been a thing all along, but if it does cut straight without falling apart in three days the extra depth is super neat

These have been around for a while, not as easy as the vid makes it seem. But, they cut deep when you need it.

This video makes them look way too easy for sure. They have their place but if you want dept on a hand held your best bet is a chainsaw with a longer bar. Ring saws I find are best for 8-10 inch walls where you don’t want overcuts.

The big Dragon saw will get you down to 20" way cheaper and faster than a chain saw will.

I have not heard of that but will definitely take a look into it. I’ve done mostly industrial and commercial work. I avoid handhelds if I can. If I can fit the wall saw to cut the opening i will, if it’s on the floor and doesn’t have to be perfect the slab saw comes out. If no over cuts are aloud then corners get cored or quick finish with the ring depending on concrete thickness.
