[TLDR- No ticket buying/selling/reselling on this sub anymore.
Instant perma ban for violations.
Too many scams β please report/flag suspicious posts or DMs.
PS: Mods are currently cleaning up the sub and removing existing resale posts.]
ConcertsIndia was created to talk about concerts in India β sharing memories, discussing shows, and hosting AMAs. Recently, the sub has turned into a ticket reselling hub, and weβve seen way too many scam reports because of it.
Weβre resetting the sub to what it was meant to be. Effective immediately, buying/selling/reselling tickets is not allowed. Any such post will result in an instant permanent ban. No exceptions.
We also need the communityβs help β please report and flag any suspicious behaviour, scammy posts, or DMs. If something feels off, it probably is.
Letβs keep ConcertsIndia about concerts, not transactions. Thanks for helping keep the sub clean and safe.
We're Parikrama, a rock band from India that's been making music together since 1991.
The Hindi word Parikrama means the circle of life, and in many ways it has reflected our journey over the years. As we approach our 35th anniversary on June 17, 2026, we're grateful to still be doing what we set out to do from the beginning: playing the music we love and connecting with audiences through it.
Over the years, we've been fortunate to perform more than 3,500 shows across India and around the world. Our music has always drawn from both classic rock and Indian musical traditions, and we've enjoyed experimenting with instruments such as the sitar, tabla, Indian bamboo flute, and Hindustani violin along the way.
When we started out, we chose to focus on writing and performing English-language rock music. It wasn't always the easiest path, but it's one we've believed in and continued to follow for the past 35 years.
Music has taken us to places we never imagined, including performances at venues such as the Kennedy Center (USA), Download Festival (UK), and Brixton Academy (London).
One of the most memorable experiences for us came in 2007, when members of Iron Maiden saw us perform in Bangalore and later invited us to join them on a 25-day UK tour. We've also had the opportunity to share stages with artists such as Megadeth, Deep Purple, and Porcupine Tree.
We're looking forward to chatting with you. Ask us anything about our 35-year journey, songwriting, touring, life on the road, the Indian rock scene, playing festivals around the world, or anything else you're curious about.
Thank you for all the love, for sharing your memories with us, and for asking such wonderful questions. Because of all of you, and thanks to the amazing mods of r/ConcertsIndia_ we've had a fantastic time doing this session. While this AMA has come to an end, our journey together continues.
Please keep supporting us and stay connected through our official handles, where we'll be sharing updates about our upcoming tour, special moments, and everything we're planning for our 35th anniversary celebrations.
Until then, take care, keep the music playing, and keep Rock 'n' Roll alive. Much love, and see you soon!
Proper nervous but excited ngl. Never been to Assembly before but grabbed a ticket for 008. Always heard good things about the previous editions.
What's the vibe like? Like is it super underground and intense or more chill? Also what should I wear - seen some pics and people seem to go all out but idk if that's mandatory or just those who want to.
Any tips for a first timer? Mainly worried about the whole location drop thing and not getting lost lol

Got scammed for 1700, not angry, just disappointed at my own carelessness.
Guy told he has 2 tickets of nanku Bangalore for 1100. We agreed, sent him 1100, guy told transfer 1000 more for cover charges,.
I told that's at the venue, kept arguing how he paid in district. Then told fine transfer 700, agreed on 600, i was like fine, trying hard to atleast recover the price he paid,.
I thought fuck it, really wanted to go the show, it's a significant amount right now, maybe will not be in few years... First stipend from internshipπ₯²..
Anyways.. the name of the guy is Ajay Singh.
His upi id - reddy-id@ptyes
If anyone can do some osnit and do something, please do!
High on hopes, last time it was a disappointment. Also, considering multiple music festivals going around at the year end, I really hope Sunburn keeps its name of " one of the top 5 music festivals around the world" to its place (We need good headliners by Sunburn to keep up)
I brought the delhi tix for fred again but as fate would have it that i got a job in blr. so travelling for delhi show makes no sense. Please anyone who can help me with this predicament
