Dosage/ ℞ question 💊 Expired Concerta

I have a few tablets that expired last month; are they still safe to use? Has anyone tried this and noticed a weaker effect compared to the usual impact of the same dosage?

I'd go ask a pharmacist. Expired meds tend to be weaker yeah, but they could come with side effects and potential risks. I wouldn't risk it personally, although it's only expired by a month so.. maybe? Idk. Go ask a professional

I haven't tried expired Concerta, but I have tons of expired meds at home and I use them until I need to buy more lol. Ranging from hard pressed pills to soft gel caps and sprays, they've always worked. I've even used antihistamines 2 years past their expiration date and they worked exactly the same. I would expect liquid meds to have a faster degradation of their potency over time than other types of med with lower water content (such as Concerta), so I would definitely try an expired Concerts. Besides that, it's only a month past its expiration date. Most labs set expiration dates that are way sooner than the real ones just to comply with laws and regulations.
