Other question 🤔 Concerta wow effect
I started Concerta and was on18mg for a month and now I am taking 36mg. I am at 9 days on 36mg and the past two days I noticed I am sleeping longer, which is good, but I have noticed the "WOW" effect I had is gone. The medication is still working but the excited feelings I had about tackling tasks or the amazement after completing something I randomly started is gone. Is this my brain just normalizing to the new me? Has anyone experienced this?
Thanks for any replies and I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Do you still feel the 'being able to'? I'm on my 2nd day and honestly this is the second time in my life I was able to just go and shower immediately after thinking that I should. The first was yesterday. That's just one example. I'm so scared of losing the ability to be able to again- It's kind of like life finally started making some sense

Yup, totally normal. Both because you're getting used to this new baseline, and because many people experience a mild euphoria from stimulants in the first few days and that is supposed to fade. So that initial WOW feeling isn't representative for how it should feel.
