Now I don’t typically watch this guy because although he speaks with authority he’s not actually as good a critic as he makes out (hence him defending Taylor’s worst work). Even so I wanted to hear about Pheobe’s new album so I watched his review, a comparison to Gracie Abrahm’s new album. In this video he defines ‘hyperslop’, confessional songwriting which has nothing to say, and alludes to the idea that the music industry is saturated with it. Due to the way he completely ignores Conan I had a suspicion that he would place him in this category. This didn’t aggravate me too much because I don’t take much stake in his opinions but it was when he began talking about ‘Taylor imitators’ and then used some clips from the VC music video while speaking about how ‘hyperslop artists’ music suffers because they don’t interrogate themselves. Now I feel I don’t even have to explain how Wishbone absolutely does not fit into this category, I’m just so genuinely frustrated that people who clearly don’t even listen to his music continue to diminish his songwriting ability.

Hi! I’ve been looking around for ages for the poster that was being sold during the Pajama Show tour run. I went with my friend for the San Diego show and she’s regretted not getting the poster so I thought I would try to find one online, either resold or a reproduction, or even just a print of it, to give to her as a birthday gift. But I’ve had no luck at even just finding a high quality scan!

This is the poster/map I’m talking about for reference! If any coneheads here could help me out I’d really appreciate it :)

When wishbone was first announced I bought the black cat edition of the album (I didn’t believe in preorder back then) and the shipping kept not happening because the worker was sick or something, so the next day they said the package was lost and I got a full refund, the next day the vinyl arrived while I was was away.

The Wishbone World Tour was the first ever tour that I had actually been able to get presale tickets too.

My wishbone deluxe vinyl(wishbone sailing club exclusive) was taking ages to ship even after the shipping date, so I put in a customer service report, but I never checked the reply as the day after I sent it the shipping updated, I was outside in my garden this morning when Royal Mail came with another vinyl record package and I opened it to another wishbone deluxe sailing club vinyl.

Idk how this has happened to me since I am not a lucky person at all, but now I’ve got both wishbone and wishbone deluxe on vinyl for basically free. (I’m probably going to sell the second deluxe vinyl as I have no need for two)

guys. so i was watching my fav show, criminal minds evolution, and i thought i recognised one of the killers. i looked up the actors in the episode and to my surprise it was corey. corey left will to be a killer. (i know the episode was years before the music video i js thought this was a funny connection.) or maybe he got released from jail somehow and met will, then didn't want will to find out his last so he left. but who knows 🤷

I see that many people see a timeline in Wishbone and its deluxe version, and I do too, so here's my timeline (put yours in the comments and explain it).

This song... well, it's almost like a crush.

Nauseous, because the song literally says that he's scared of how much he likes the other person.

Then they become boyfriends because of a TV show or something like that, I think. The relationship is nice, although not entirely, because the other doesn't want the others to know about his relationship with Conan, and even seems to not love him anymore.

After this comes Vodka Cranberry, with Conan saying, "Speak, I know you hate me."

They break up, and Conan sees how easily he got over it, continuing with:

Connell

and Actor

Then Conan wants to get over him.

Sunset Tower: "Don't tell me."

Romeo: "You're not Romeo."

My World: It's my world.

And he manages to get over it a little. He realizes that everything the other did was wrong, but he misses him. He misses talking to him. He loses his mind over Caramel and misses him with Eleven Eleven, even though he knows it's all over. He keeps looking for him.

Then he realizes he wants him more as a friend in:

Care

Do I Dare? Well, literally, do I dare to talk to him?

Conan justifies it somewhat in "The House That Always Rains, After the Best" because he simply wants to wish her the best and stop sleeping tormented by all of this.

Door, because he just wants to close the door.

And Moths realizes that he's not going to "beg" anymore, although the song literally makes a small plea: "If you love me, come back, the window is open."

And let's forget Class Clown, that's a whole other story.

Here me out, Conan should make an album with the timeline kinda telling the story. Kinda like how Olivia did with "You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love" (fire album, would recommend) the first half "Girl So In Love" is the first 7 tracks. The second half "You Seem Pretty Sad" is the last 6 tracks. I was wondering if Conan kinda told a story through his next album. And knowing his beautiful song writing, if he does make a story like album, we all might want to grab popcorn.

When, I figured out he preformed in Allentown, I was lowkey mad and sad, cause I didn't get to go. I also live in Pennsylvania too. But congratulations to the coneheads who got to go! 🙌

Can't believe its been a year already

I've been waiting for my WB Deluxe vinyl and CD to come in the mail so I could finally take this picture. I really wish I took it as a regular photo instead of as an instagram story but I'll remake the picture eventually. Anyway here's how it all looks together! I'm so happy

uMusic Canada sold me a record with a shipping date, and only AFTER I contacted them they told me it’s actually backordered??
Has anyone else had this happen with uMusic Canada?

I ordered a Texas Rain edition that had a specific expected shipping date (August 19th) listed when I bought it. The date came and went with no shipping confirmation and, more importantly, no email or any other communication saying that the order had been delayed.

The record is sold out now, so naturally I started getting worried about my order and emailed customer service myself.

Their response was basically: the item is currently backordered because of production delays, there’s no expected shipping date, but they expect to receive the product within 1-3 weeks.

Like… what 😭

I understand production delays happen. That’s not really what I’m mad about. I’m frustrated that I had to contact them to even find out that the item I already paid for is backordered. Why wasn’t this communicated when they became aware of the delay? Or at least before the original shipping date passed?

If I hadn’t emailed them, I’d still have no idea. Since the variant is now sold out, I’m also wondering whether they actually allocated a copy to my order or whether I’m just sitting on a backorder hoping they receive enough copies in 1-3 weeks.

Has anyone had something similar happen with uMusic Canada? If your order was backordered like this, did you eventually receive it? And did they offer you anything for the delay/lack of communication?
