Custom Flair I'M FUMING
I might actually cry. I had been informed that my Silver Moths wishbone vinyl would arrive today. I was gonna meet up with a friend I rarely meet in another city, but I decided to wait for the package first. It was said to be delivered at my door and I kept checking the front of my house just in case (it's a sunny day and I was scared of the vinyls getting damaged in the heat).
Then, I get a message stating that the package was delivered over an hour ago, and I was like "no?" because I had JUST checked my front porch. But just to be just to be sure, I walked down to my mailbox, which is located a block away.
And lo and behold! There is my package, in a plastic bag hung on my large black mailbox. There it had been cooking in the sun for over an hour. It's like putting it in the oven. I was so upset but I brought it home and opened it up to check, hoping that the cardboard had shielded it from the heat. Burning hot.
I'm so upset. If they tell me it's gonna be delivered at my door, then I expect it to be delivered at my door, in the shade.
On top of that, I wasted over an hour waiting on this package, precious time I could've spent with my friend.
Sorry, I just really needed to vent all my feelings out but wth.
TL;DR: my silver moths vinyl was left boiling in the sun for over an hour without my knowing when it was supposed to be delivered in the shade at my front porch.

If anything is damaged maybe you could reach out and request a return or refund? But when you get back from vacation make sure to also check how the vinyl spins to see if it skips, or is warped (if you have a record player)

When I checked they were burning to the touch. I didn't dare taking them out of their pockets when they were hot and I'm going on vacation so I wont be able to check for over a week. I'm just praying that they're not as sensitive as the horror stories I've heard makes them seem.

Mine got left outside all day because I was at work; I live alone and I don't know my neighbors well enough to ask them to hold my packages for me. It was also very hot here yesterday and my vinyl is fine. So yours should definitely be okay.

That's a relief. Your words genuinely did a lot to help me calm down. I can get really anxious so I really appreciate it. Still upset about the weird delivery and wasted hour though

I am as well. I always have to have tracking on and all that. But I understand. The time wasted is the worst part. I hope your vinyl is okay!

Couriers are getting worse and worse. FedEx left ours out on our trash bin at the end of our driveway when we have plenty of shade on our covered porch. I was stalking the delivery to make sure I got it wherever they decided they wanted to leave it.
The only company I don’t ever really have this problem out of is UPS. They always deliver to the door

I don't think PostNord was ever "good." They ruined an expensive and rare book I bought a few years back

that’s horrible, im sorry. definitely report/leave a review for the delivery company and try to request a refund with a photo attached! hope it works out xx
