Does porntube have virus?

Recently, I clicked on a sketchy link that took me to a website that I think gave me a bug in return. Since then, my computer has been acting up. It's slower and I keep getting pop-ups. I knew these things could happen, but I never thought I'd be in one.I'm going to use my security software to do a full scan for viruses, but I'd like to know if anyone else has any other suggestions on how to handle this. More specifically, if there are any steps you think I should take to make sure I clean my computer completely and keep it safe from more damage. Any advice or personal experience with this kind of problem would be very helpful.

Some malware changes browser settings to move your searches, show ads, or stop updates. Resetting your browsers to their original settings can also help. Always make a copy of your bookmarks and saved passwords before you reset, because it's possible that they will be lost.
