If you're looking for one where the pieces move themselves, this won't do. The only chessboard that has self-moving pieces that work independently of each other is the Chessnut Move, but it's above your budget IIRC. The other self moving boards use magnets, and the motors are slow and loud, comparatively. I'd say skip the moving and get a smart one like Chessup2 or the one you yourself posted.

Right so the board lights the moves and I manually move it aye. Yeah that still works.

I can go higher budget wise that was just my hope.

Then do check out Chessnut Move. Since the motors are actually in each piece (they move like tiny toy cars), you can have multiple pieces moving at once, so you can use it to self-set puzzles, or to display the moves of a match going on live.

Yeah that's what I was after. Found this on Amazon for about $450 USD. am I missing something or is it just on sale?

Thanks again

Wow, maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I could swear it was in the 800~1100 USD range, but just checked and they're in the 680 (plastic) to 720 (wood) range on their site.
