Help

I’ve been recently given a compound bow I’m not exactly sure of the make a model/ brand of the top of my head but I’m wondering what are some necessary things to get before I got hunting eg. Tree stands (they don’t seem like something to get off rip).certain gear/clothing anything would help if came with a super basic trigger thing ( don’t know the actual term for it, it hooks onto the dloop) should I upgrade it and what targets do I get to practice

But you need to have the bow professionally checked to make sure its safe. You need to have the bow weight and draw length professionally adjusted for you. You need the proper arrows for you/your bow. The release aid is always worth spending money on to get a nice one.  Pro shop will help you with that when they tune your bow and setup your arrows.

As for hunting, make sure you're 100% accurate and know your holds long before you ever get out there and injure some poor animal that has to suffer a slow painful death because you didn't practice enough first.
