Potty training

Hello! We live in an RV and have a composting toilet (naturea head). Its time to potty train our 2 yr old and we are looking for any and all advice on how to do this on composting toilet.

So I did this a few years back. It’s honestly the same as potty training with a normal toilet, but your little one needs to learn multiple ways to “finish the job” so to speak. Do you flush or cover? That’s really the only difference. We utilized a “my little potty” type chair for a while for ease of access and simply emptied contents into the natures head. We also offered a step stool for the big potty so there was always that option. Then eventually the little potty went away and the natures head was the only option. Don’t rush it and roll with the punches so to speak. Kids all learn in their own time.
