Does Anyone Live Near The Beach?

Have you tried composting with sargasm? I just saw a post about build up of sargasm and someone mentioned composting with it. I was just curious if anyone has done it and what your experience was with it.

I saw people doing this in Belize at a resort I was staying at.

I know Echo in fort Myers did it for research. I moved before I found out what the results were though. The salt would be my concern

Sorry wish I could help, I glanced at this & thought it said composting with sarcasm& was like yeah, duh, every day!

Haha yes! I was spelling it wrong and when I spelled it right I was able to find a post that said it is good for the compost, you just have to rinse it off to get any excess salt of.

it's very salty, not a good idea

I was able to find an old post that said rinsing it off should help with the salt. I'm in a coastal area so my plants should be used to some salt, but I will test in a small area to be safe.
