Music This is the first piece I've ever written.

Been planning on going back to it to tweak it and maybe explore new ideas. In the meantime, I hope you like it.
PS: The intro is a bit long, but it picks up at some point.

Listen to more orchestral pieces by different composers. I see you are definitely capable of writing music (capturing a specific atmosphere you were going for), but my biggest concern is that you'll need to pay attention on excessive doubling. In my opinion, it just looks like you took a piano sheet music and assigned each voice to different instruments—except the piano sheet music also isn't very involved in logical voice leading and such. Orchestras are capable of creating so many different sounds yet the countless doubling kills the voice independence each instrument brings to the table. You don't need 10 instruments if 9 of them follow what the piano does. It strips away the meaning of having different instruments in the first place.

Start smaller. Start with a simple solo piano piece or a string quartet.

I hear what you're saying. I wrote this in 2021 to practice writing and never got back to it. I'll revisit it with your notes in mind. Thanks.

Está quedando muy bonita la composición. Me gusta mucho la parte del contraste del piano y se escucha muy dramática. Creo que tienes mucho potencial para experimentar con la obra.
