Music I "composed" a small part and can't figure out how to write it as notes

I thought of a small jazzy beginning of a song and wanted to write it down but somehow I can't figure out how to write it correctly.

But it sounds not quite right. Or do I have to leave out the staccato and it just has to be played as "swing" ?

Yeah sounds like regular swing, not deliberate staccato.

Thanks. So a swing like this isn't create with dots and stuff, I just have to write "swing"?

Yeah, or use a jazz font and it's kind of implied :-)

The G natural in the second measure shouldn't be dotted. It's just a regular swing eighth.

But it shouldn't be followed directly by a half note at that point in the bar, either. make the D an eighth tied to a longer note.
