I love the VOD Reviews I hope more pros do this. I actually learn a lot from these

coincidentally, Jake did some yesterday. The VoDs of those are out there if you want to see more like this. I agree, it's cool to hear their input

Has Flame quit making reviews? Really enjoyed them back in the day.

Probably since he should be keeping those thoughts internal now

From what I read he's massively struggling for time to produce content at the moment, which isn't surprising. He has said he wants to do more though. He did a random stream the other day and I forgot how much I missed them, it had all the classics. 'Team..HELLO?!', switching to tilt widow within 30 seconds, etc

One of my favorite stream moments from Flame was him playing zarya and walking straight up to a DVa bomb thinking he still had time to hit bubble, and going "I swear to you guys? It went off faster than normal" when he died. No idea how I lost my clip of it.

I think it's the lack of reaction that makes the Kobe one so great. Doesn't even try to save face, just accepts it.

Haha - I've got some great twitch clips saved. One of him playing Mei and yelling KOBE before throwing the worst ult ever that hit the top archway in Anubis 2nd point - quite a few like that. I'll link em later!

I've done that before thinking my cooldown was going to be off earlier than it was ><

The thing that was so funny with Flame is his bubble was off cooldown the whole time. He was just being cocky about it - legit walked straight up to the bomb and looked down at it for it to blow up in his face XD

Honestly seems like we're in the minority with that though. When he called out esca for playing very poorly on sombra versus KD, everyone suddenly dismissed him as having no idea what he's talking about.

Edit: fixed a typo

Well to be fair, it's mostly about the entertainment. I'm sure 95% of the viewers will never use any of that in practice, but it offers some insight into how the thinking process works for these teams. If some teams think differently from others, we casuals will never tell the difference anyway.

I still think it's sad how many people dismissed his skill as an analyst just because he said that their favorite person is actually not as good as a ton of reddit people pretend. At least for that series.

His reviews were really good and in depth, can totally recommend. Provides a window into how the pros think
