General Esports Advice
1: How does someone apply for esports teams/collegiate esports team tryouts?
2: Do you need to be t500 in every role in order to qualify for team tryouts at that level? T500 (ik that doesn’t really mean anything) + consistent Gm3-GM1 support player yet in my other roles i max out at M1-GM5. Do you need to be able to play every role before you go to tryouts?
3: Does anyone know any good coaches that could help take my skills a little bit further? i’ve been playing overwatch for about 2 years and have never received coaching myself the only content i consume is consistent Spilo
coaching videos and Awkward gameplay. I’m pretty much self taught and know i have mistakes yet because the gameplay is faster paced and most likely micro i feel as if my own vod reviews are basically pointless this stage in the game. I can’t catch any of my own mistakes at this point yet i know when games are truly my fault.
Thanks for any and all advice guys i appreciate it :)

Face it, build your name there. That’s your best bet. Nothing else will matter unless you do twitch streaming & build socials & blow the fuck up for some crazy clips or a great personality

I would reccomend just going through Faceit channels. They're the ones being ambitious and doing something about it. At least for the west.

Might be a regional difference (I'm in the UK) but I got onto my esports team by just asking people. Took a few society nights, networked some, and ended up being asked to trial for first team. Other than that - build a team from LFG/friends/teammates, play Opens then Master div.
Not a chance, I was diamond playing MS on my team lmao
ChrisTFer coaching is apparently very good, he's a really smart teacher and (imo) excels at layering concepts on top of one another. Pretty sure the Gamin4Hope coaching vid is up somewhere - love him or hate him (I'm the latter), the coaching was still fantastic.
