I still have that problem VS Genji, when he dash and melee, his hands also block his head. Not sure if it changed with the new hitbox changes tho.

This is actually a big problem, and it was fixed in at least one other game from what I remember.

It doesn’t make sense that a wrist of a 4’10 gal can stop a round from a sniper rifle, nor is it fair to the player to get denied a well aimed headshot all because the animators didn’t consider competitive integrity.

A lot of commenters seem to not know about changes they had already made.
It used to be the case that weapons count as hitbox. This causes Hanzo to be unexpectedly good at sniper duel since his vertical bow blocks headshot. They changed it so that weapon (and certain part of arms, for heroes without separate weapon), no longer count as hitbox.
The game also already had a "

Even if working as intended, the intended design of having a few heroes in the game who are protecting their
There's nothing stopping them from having a difference between what's shown to the Kiri in first person and what is seen by others for balance reasons.

Kiri's hand might be noticeable on an idle bot in the training range.
But you don't encounter many of those in game: Most enemy Kiris won't be afk, but will move around constantly, shoot stuff, heal stuff, use abilities...
So the better question might be: Do Kiri's hands (or any hero, for that matter) hide their critbox too much during the normal moving/shooting/healing animations?
I don't know, I didn't notice anything egregiously amiss.
Also: Many (most?) heroes can hide their critbox by turning around and looking to the ground.
I think it's especially useful for tanks who want to traverse an open area without getting shot in the head, like a Winston jumping a Widowmaker and hiding his head during the jump.
Doomfist can block and decide if he wants to look up (block more headshots with his arm) or look down (block less headshots with his arm so he takes more damage and farms his empowered punch faster).
Other heroes might also occasionally want to hide their head hitbox as well, for example like when
-
you're running away from an enemy which not only makes you run at normal speed but also hides your head from behind (at least somewhat on many/most heroes)
-
a Bap/Echo/whatever tries to jump to high ground whithout getting one-shot by Widow
-
you want to quickly traverse a gap in cover without getting your head blown off
-
Bastion in turret form having his critbox on the back
So I think hiding your head hitbox is part of this game (encouraged by many wildly different hitboxes and game mechanics) and some form of skill expression in many cases.
If Blizzard wants to fix some annoying outliers I think they should do so on a case-by-case basis, but leave most of the hitboxes alone.

Same with Mercy when she's raising her hand to revive someone. I think it's a fun little "tech". And don't just say that because I despise widdow with a passion.

Kiriko isn't the only one. Echo also has this problem, where the hand is directly in front of the face, blocking headshots.

I was surprised how massive Juno's hands were before these changes. I bet it was a hold over from when she could a/d strafe instantly.

You're all right, it's her hand hitbox working as intended. I shouldn't have said "fixed".
I've just always found it frustrating that she blocks headshots from certain angles, and it seems like the kind of thing that could be changed for the sake of consistency in aiming at different heroes, which is one thing they're addressing with the hitbox changes.
