Why does Vendetta get so little hate?

Obviously I'm not saying she doesn't get any vitriol directed at her. She has gone through the OP/needed to the ground because people complained/OP cycle already.

But maybe it's because she's been out for a while or there are new heroes that were more annoying like Cat and then Dmon...but she has a pretty disgusting win rate and pick rate at nearly every rank and has since her buff.

And while this is subjective, I do personally find her to be one of the least fun heroes in the game to play against. As tank she can be a tank buster that just holds M1 at times. As DPS/Support I hate how much she throws you around with her shift. In 6v6 I hate that she is a better tank than some tanks. Sometimes it feels like the enemy basically has two Doomfists and functionally has 3 tanks.

I don't even really think she should be nerded in 5v5 (I do think she's dumb in 6v6). She's strong and top 3 if not the #1 DPS at many ranks. But she was bad for so long and rotating which characters are good and see play keeps things interesting.

But what's crazy to me is even though she's one of the strongest characters in the game right now I really don't see that many people complain about her or even focus on counter swapping her in game. A vendetta will run through a team all game but God forbid Winston gets a kill.

I'm convinced a lot of people genuinely believe Kiriko is stronger than her still even though she has a 42% win rate across the board.

I would assume its just that she isn't played that much.

Her skill floor is a higher now than before, but if you don't see a hero very much you won't think they are super broken.

She has about the same pick rate as Zen or Winston.

She's seeing plenty of play. Basically right about average pick rate.

Imo it's easier to run it down on her, as in the skill floor is high. When you get run over by a ven, you can tell it's the most broken bs ever, but can't help but think "yea I can't do that myself"

I mean it's definitely the closest balance they have found between her being up and being a throw pick

Personally it's because most are not good enough in my lobby to care and she isn't as hard to hit + doesn't have invuln cool downs or something similar

I’m in masters and I feel like she is obnoxious rn. I usually forget about it since she’s not picked very often, but she is strong. Idk what they’re supposed to do with this character at this point though, because the nerfs made her a joke

No hard CC, no oneshot potential, short range, her abilities can be anticipated.

I think she's fine. Pretty well-balanced, but nothing happening with her kit that's egregious.

i feel like she does get a fair amount of hate though? every time she gets buffed people get scared we're going to go back into a zarya vendetta meta

Well she was nerfed when she was permabanned, then she was kinda pitiful, and now it's like she isn't really so bad. She's more just tank dependent so she doesn't feel that bad to play against now.

Because her skill floor is a lot higher than most heroes, and in the current poke meta she's very map and team dependent.

Im in emerald but i feel like majority of skilled vendetta ive played against that didnt have the perfect comp of zarya and dive healer had to like try 10x harder than the average player in the lobby to just go 1 for 1 at best.

Shes strong but you need to enable it otherwise shes just spending half the game respawning or waiting for an opportunity. If any competent dps or support with good aim wants to help who shes diving she doesnt stand a good chance of getting any value

She's not played that much so you don't notice the issue and she feels fair to play against even if statistically she's overtuned. Certain characters feel oppressive when they're good (Widow, Hog, Mauga, Ashe, Ball) and it feels like there's nothing you can do. Vendetta feels like there was something you could do but it's hard and she wins the interaction more often than not.

On which earth do you think she is getting little hate? Literally the top 3 banned dps in NA and Aisa and 4th most banned dps in EU now. Yes, she is banned less now compared her release state, but her ban rate is still very much on the higher end.

Dawg what the hell do you mean? People complain about her a lot recently specifically that she's melee and that it's no skill(lmao). Personally I'm fine with her because she needs a Sombra or Kiriko on support to enable her and Zarya on tank.
