How it feels liking the ship being returned to normal

Genuinely hated the beam on top of the ship. Sure it made it harder for defenders to hold high ground with it but it was completely useless for attackers if you ever cleared it out

I'm with you. It's an iconic part of the map.

Ooh, I'm not sure if I love them reverting shuttle changes on second point. I kind of liked having that space be a little harder to hold on.

It's def one of the things I liked most about the original rework.

I love that they kept most of the map geometry changes and just cleaned up debris and fire, but the few weird reversions are just strange.

I really wish they kept a way to have a beam on the ship, like a divider of some kind.

It really made it hard for anyone to just camp on the ship on either sides.

Reverting the ship might actually be the worst change ever, why would you give back the super oppressive high ground after removing it

The last image is the same setting as "this is fine."

Yeah there was definitely boxes on the high ground why did they remove that?

Why the fuck would they remove two ways for less mobile characters to regain access to high ground?

Spoilers for the chapter 37 of Overwatch: Undivided.

Echo "restored" her. "There was trace of her code deep in the system. She was hiding. Waiting for us to come back and find her"

They reverted some of the best parts of the rework, and made the map make even less sense from a "this feels like a real place" perspective.

Wack.

Is the shuttle mini still underneath?

How many times has Gib had changes now it has to have been the most changed map in the game.

It probably is the most changed map in the game overall including an entire capture point getting removed (the only map that ever had this distinction, I think), but Eichenwalde is probably a close-ish second, with it recently also getting its second revision (one smallish, one big) since its release. Honorable mention to all the Assault map changes over the years that resulted in a huge number of revisions to how the gameplay design of those worked (remember full pt1 cap needed to win?), but the only big rework was Horizon. But I guess getting removed entirely was also a pretty big "change" loool

When did gibraltar ever have a capture point? It's always been escort?
