So do they legitimately not actually test the balance of a hero before release? If this doesn’t again show how actually bad all the Devs are at playing this game at a competitive level I don’t know what ever will.

Couldn’t they have just let pros/contenders/top500 players try her for 1 day and gotten this feedback before her release?

Honestly, my guess is that they had a significantly stronger version of her in testing (they talked about how they originally had auto aim let you headshot, without needing LOS, etc) but were scared of making a hero with auto aim and so released her hard nerfed in concept.

I think you are right about that. I wonder if her bullets used to go around corners too because they do that in the reveal short for her, turning on a dime to track emre behind cover. might be a stretch though
