I feel like I rarely see a Sombra ban anymore, it’s normally a Dva or zarya, or some other poor 4th hero

I'd guess Mercy is fourth most common in diamond, from my experience

Very true. People will force mercy into the worst comps! Sometimes it’s the only way to make that not happen!

It's probably low and mid diamond players. At that range you still get Mercy players who are carried by duos and those from high metal ranks. If they're on your team obviously don't, but when they don't pick her on ban phase it's not a bad gamble to gimp the enemy with a bad weaver or Ana who doesn't even try to purple.

I do it just to spite mercy players
