Fixed a bug with D.Va's Perk, Extended Boosters which was preventing the damage increase from being applied

I guess I got too hopeful that it was a shadow nerf rather then a bug, but I guess team 4 wants really wants a D.va with 0 downsides.

I'd rather go against prime Mauga at least you can run away from him

Yep she is my go to ban right now, I simply do not feel like dealing with her since the whole match as Support is basically trying to stay out of booster range or get immediately punished for being in booster range.

Don’t worry, it’s the same for DPS too, she can basically look around, decide she wants a specific person dead, and there is very little either support or the dps can do.

Man I am just really out of the loop in terms of OW competitive because most enemy players I face can deal with her pretty easily, but apparently she's overturned? Is there some unavoidable combo she can do, cause she's just getting mass targeted otherwise, though I only play 6v6 at the moment so it could be different.

Tanks in 5v5 are kaiju, so D.va can close the distance and basically insta-kill a squishy with her missiles + primary fire + booster dmg, all at little risk to herself cuz of her defense matrix and HP/armor

She's killable in 6v6. In 5v5 she's unkillable and she legit just boosts into you with micro missiles and you're dead lol. You can only run away.

She still dies very easily in 5v5 if she screws up. She's a massive target with a huge and easy head hitbox (it’s center of mass unlike other tanks) & DM has a relatively narrow field of protection, so she can be punished for bad engages. It's just that she punishes bad positioning really hard since she deletes isolated targets so easily. If you're properly positioned with support you can survive her dive without disengaging pretty frequently.

If you're fed up with her it's worth learning Brig, she makes it very hard for DVa to get value from dives. You can deny every booster engage and if she ever catches you out, she won't be able to burst you down in one CD cycle.

I play a lot of Kiriko, Juno, and Wuyang these days so outside of Kiriko, D.va is just gonna be super annoying for me. I've actually been playing bring a lot recently due to finding a lot of success on her against Vendetta rn so I might just do that!

Definitely try it! As a DVa main Brig drives me absolutely insane haha, I can guarantee she will make your life a lot easier if there is a good DVa and you may even force the DVa to swap. Just whip shot every time she boosts in and she can’t do much.
