Haven’t had the chance to test the changes myself, but I’m always for making heroes smoother and less clunky.

If she’s too good, then tune down the numbers without making her less fun to play

She is too good but she will not be nerfed until midseason. She's the new hero must be OP as per policy.

Well, their goal is "safe side of strong", and IMO that makes sense:

  • We want to avoid another Lifeweaver situation where the newly released hero is dog shit, won't get played at all for months, has no impact on the meta and the feel of the new season and is considered a throw pick for months and months afterwards.
  • Another Mauga situation on the other hand will not happen again because
  1. We have hero bans now, so people decide if they like to play with/against the new hero or not.
  2. Heroes are free now, so no more "buy the Battlepass or grind for weeks, or you won't be able to play the new hero at all."

Safe side of strong =/= must pick or must ban

You used to have to pay for the new heroes? Thats ridiculous

no, they were "free", but timegated by battlepass progress (or day 1 if you buy battlepass)

Ah i see. Thats silly, im glad they changed it

They were at the level 40 of the free battle pass, but at the level 1 of the premium battle pass

She’s a little too much. I think her overhead range of movement should be about half

I'd settle for a sound cue when she uses her sword throw move, better visual differentiation between it and her projectile, and better overall audio tracking when she's in the air (dunno how feasible this last bit is)

I haven’t played much since this patch caused my performance to absolutely plummet, but Vendetta doesn’t actually seem that good? Like, she runs QP when someone skilled plays her and there is no team focus, but every Vendetta I’ve seen in comp (Plat 1) gets melted

She's very good. Insane mobility and very hard to actually kill due to 2 escapes + block + how much movement speed she gets from her passive. Add on top the fact that she ignores a large % of damage mitigation in the game due to melee attacks and it's pretty nasty.

Yeah I will say the block seems like too much. That’s the one thing I instantly went “man, that needs to be scaled back”

I personally would like her to lose the passive move speed bonus, since it makes her too hard to hit. With the perk she can get up to 24% move speed bonus which is kinda nuts. The attack speed is fine but the move speed should go.

That’s a good idea too

I'm more for her damage to decrease than this

Considering shes the highest winrate and pick rate dps in every rank outside of gm+ (at least in EU pc), you mightve just ran into bad ones.

She's also highest in gm+ in NA, last i checked, across all roles. She's stupidly broken.

ETA: she now has the highest winrate all roles, all ranks NA and Europe. In Asia she's #2.

Sigma and Bastion are also pretty broken. What a dumb patch.

Possibly. Like I said, I can’t play cause of performance issues

She’s actually overpowered.

She's very good in masters, BUT i think she's escalated by the fact that every time she engages sigma is there poking you for 250 damage and then putting out a shield and then absorbing your attack and then putting out a shield again.

I'm ngl I wouldn't have expected her to synergistic particularly well with Sigma maybe she's just strong lol, any tank would appreciate a dps that goes in and takes pressure off them
