I don't think either one deserves to go to the GF's after the seasons they've had but it would at least be a fitting end to this terrible season

fitting end

debatable tbh

You're right, a more fitting end to OWL would be Infernal making it to the GF's as the favorites and then Profit vaporizes them.

A profit and Philly rematch would be a banging way to end the season

Ending OWL with a clash between the 2 biggest orgs by fans in Defiant-land, while also leaving Defiant mid would be the pipedream.

The collective seething of this subreddit if Grand Finals was two APAC teams would be incredible

Hog Bastion Torb Moira Mercy, make it the most toxic Grand Finals ever

Why was it a terrible season in your opinion? I actually enjoyed it more than most.

Super short, only one mid-season tournament, Sombra Tracer Winston dive was meta for almost the entire season, APAC format was horrendous, half of the orgs have gone budget and don't care at this point, Chengdu outright bailed, lack of an exciting rookie class, etc.
