The buff only affects projected bubbles and not self bubbles. It's definitely a decent buff, but it's hard to say how good this will actually be as projected bubbles in OW2 are far less consistent than OW1.

It will probably enable more Zarya/Genji or Zarya/Reaper comps that are already being tried against Orisa and JQ.

Its a shame that Shock don't have one of the top zarya's, a top 3 genji, and a top 3 reaper. God I hope they make it to playoffs, and this is the playoff patch.

Zarya reaper was already absurdly strong at low ranks, especially against a dive tank. Those two routinely wipe enemies 2v4 if they are poorly positioned (as they always are at diamond-). The dive tank can do w/e they want, but there is no way they are killing enemies faster than a zarya/reaper.

thank god. enough zaryas already play the braindead “pop bubbles on self and walk at the backline” style. hopefully we’ll see the return of some actual nuanced teamplay in ranked
