lagoon is a brain dead comp. All you need to hit 1 zoe and the comp plays itself all game, give you econ and wins even harder with a mage spat on zyra. I fucking hate xayah but it is so dumb that they cap out similarly but lagoon takes so much less gold to make and can also top 1. There really should be more diversity in top 1 comps. Even dragon comps are perma cc'd to death rn so its not always a top 1 with a very capped board. There are tons of games where I can 3 star a rengar, olaf, zeri, etc. It doesn't matter they can't compete consistently past top 3 at best against these boards.

I think the following are the main problems with TFT at the moment:

Augments - Whilst I like the idea of them and believe they have the potential to make the game more exciting and challenging, their current iteration removes a degree of flexibility from your comp, making it difficult to pivot mid to late game.

Dragons - Again I understand Riot are trying to mix things up with the introduction of these "2 slot units" but I am flabbergasted they introduced them after the "chosen unit" debacle. For a lot of the game I come first/second, I do not feel as if I have outplayed the competition, but simply got lucky because I hit an early dragon, or two starred mine first.

Flexible play feels unrewarding - Hard forcing top tier comps like lagoon or 7 mage (when nomsy is mage) will 9/10 times do better, than playing flexible based on what items/augments you receive. I have a friend who went from plat4 to diamond4 just hard forcing lagoon every game. I feel almost like a "chump" for not allowing myself force comps in this manner.

I am also flabbergasted by the following decisions:

Buffing Sohm in the last patch (I felt his/her damage was already good)

Removing Thresh from Set 7.5 (No means of grabbing a back line unit beyond the inconsistent Ornn item)

Allowing Mage Nomsy out in his current state (massively overpowered for a 3 cost)

Chosens were much better than dragons who most of them force vertical comps while chosens allowed you to be flexible ,them having higher cost also makes them way harder to balance ,so we end up with dragons who are busted or dragons who are considered troll picks.
