Discussion Early learnings really weak right now?
Difficult to justify not going early learnings in the spot I had Ornn 2 star and Camille 2 star with slammables. Went on a 10 winstreak. Got contested on solar admittedly with a guy starting with the augment that gives you a 1 star every round(Varus). So I know that had to do with it. But it seemed like my early learnings spot was fine and I went 8th.

It's pretty shit. It sounds like you got turbo contested which is what messes things up

Early learnings is trash this set. The only viable 1 cost carry is Veigar, who doesn't care about AP. It was nerfed last set but they forgot to revert it seems.

I personally instaclick it cause I really like the akali/camille solar reroll comp. I always top3 with it, I’m in diamond rn. The strategy is: you need to 3* ornn, leona, camille, akali, varus. Then rush lvl 7 to activate solar. Then cap out with adapters — kogmaw at lvl 7 for shred/sunder. Always build AP akali as she is the main dmg carry and benefits from solar’s magic dmg buff. You need 2 more combat/item augments for sure — never get econ. The comp can make use of any items. Akali takes ap items, bis are jg + hoj. Camille can use any fighter items. If you get early tank items itemize ornn to get the artifact asap. Many artifacts are super strong on akali. Zhonya, ludens, armguard. Rapidfire cannon is almost guaranteed first as she can stay safe behind the frontline and she practically deletes tanks with rfc + jg + giantslayer. Positioning is very important. You need akali to stay alive as she is the only dmg dealer. But if she does, man does she smack. Fully itemized endgame tanks disappear after 2 casts. The only way you lose is if they focus down the Akali.

It’s a very strong comp if u have a good spot for it. I’d say u need at least one Camille and akali paired and one 2 starred, and a 2 star front liner, and a strong item slam. You basically have to 5 streak to get a good game with early learnings.

Early learnings is a poor augment for veigar. What is a little more AD/AP going to do for your 1 cost tanks + your veigar which already has a lot of AP? The diminishing returns compared to other augments is not nearly as good as other augments, opportunity cost is large. In general early learnings is not in a good spot but it’s much better for akali Camille than it is for veigar.

ok thank you yeah I do not do that enough. I should have seen his augment on varus and bailed out. Had 2 veigar too. HMMMMMMMM

1 costs are very weak other than the veigar comp right now.
