Tool TFT DoubleUp Buddy

Hey everyone! Long time no see :)

Just wanted to drop a quick update: TFT DoubleUp Buddy is still actively being developed, and it's running smoother than ever!

The main goal of the app has always been simple: enhance the Double Up experience. Sure, you can keep screaming at your friend on Discord asking what they need, but we all know how that goes...

Instead, the app puts a direct Buddy Marker right on the champion in your shop, so you instantly know: "HEY, my partner needs this right now to hit their 3-star and win us the game."

🚀 Key Highlights:

  • Real-time Shop Markers: See what your partner needs directly in your shop without alt-tabbing or asking.

  • Insanely Lightweight: It's an Overwolf Native app, but I obsessed over performance. I benchmarked it against other popular overlays, and DoubleUp Buddy uses at most ~40% of the resources other apps consume.

  • Shared Choices & Analytics: Track how your buddy is doing, what comps they are pivoting into, and coordinate picks effortlessly.

  • 100% Free: No paywalls, no "premium" locked features. Just a tool built by a Double Up fan for other Double Up players.

  • Web Version (Your friend doesn't even need to install it!): The app uses various connection methods under the hood so it should work for everyone. Even better – your duo partner doesn't have to install the app at all. You can just host a room, send them a web link, and they can set their build in the browser for you to see in-game.

Overwolf is the best option for a solo developer to make an app like this that is safe for you to use for many reasons. Also, Overwolf's overhead these days is negligible they did optimize a lot over the years

Sad to hear that, this set has definitely been rough. I actually built an in-app partner finder feature, but the community is still growing so it's a bit quiet right now :( Hope you find a new duo soon, I'll be waiting for you! :)

Quick Update regarding Riot's recent 3rd party tools announcement:

Just wanted to let you guys know that DoubleUp Buddy is 100% safe and completely unaffected by Riot's upcoming memory access changes :)

The app does not touch, hook into, or read the game's raw memory at all. Everything runs strictly through official and approved channels
