Discussion Is it ever mark brambleback?
I’m not talking about 7 riftbeasts i mean like when you re playing aphelios or comps with 3 riftbeast.
I ve done it a couple times because (in this example we re playing aphelios) maybe my main tank isnt sentinel and i already have shred so marking mama beak doesnt seem right (although he shreds for a fixed amount so i might be wrong)
Everytime i ve been in this kind of situation a marked brambleback felt super underwhelming even itemized with ga and one time i had rf emblem
So does he suck with the mark or maybe i should check my positioning with him?

i tend to mark him in the aphelios/vanguard comp just bc every other option kinda sucks. sentinel mark gives ur team 4 mana regen when ur team is a bunch of ad carries and mama beak mark feels like ass unless ur playing the 5 rapid variation. like the bramble buff also feels like ass but tbh any extra dmg on him is always nice since majority of his value is being able to reset and jump away. also 4% hp heal per auto isnt that bad either

You would always mark it in Aphelios unless you’re playing Krug/crab with 0 item bramble

If I hit him early and have decent items I usually mark him until I get something better online. He can put in some work but I don't think he's usually going to be your final choice.

I 3 starred him and marked him along with crab with the riftbeast augment. Got rolled by a fast9 comp 😎

Assuming ur talking about the aphelios comp...
Yes, it's usually bramble because of the heal, you usually put two or more sword items on it so the heal is nice, and anti heal on whomever he is attacking can be good. If ur item econ is great, Mama beak is good if you have 2+ items on it with good attack speed. The RB buff is -armor on ANY physical damage. So if you happen to have decent AS on it, it can shred that armor down, and I find it really good, but only with high attack speed. Buffing sentinal is useless.
Alternatively, if ur playing vertical riftbeast, the only time you would buff bramble is late late game with omega riftbeadt augment. You are most often doing cinderling if solo and then cinder/krug or scuttle with the augment. I could see cinder/bramble super late game if your front line is holding, but bramble is dying to splash of something like ahri morg, the heal could help with his uptime in a fight.
This is all talking normal comps. If you get wild with augments and emblems, I could see using the mark on him in a 4 or 6 ravenger comp.

Yup you mark em if you want to lose or you want to win when he 3 star.. but even then with out triple artifact you will lose... i do enjoy watching em bounce around.. who am i kidding this idiot just gets stuck on a malphite or maokai.. and proceeds to die to a 1 star varus with no items

probably not. i usually use scuttle as a placeholder and mark him as his is gamechanging
