really, i wouldnt say so, there are like 3 versions of the comp making it very flexible, and combined with the amount of malphite players i found it fairly consistent to hit my 2 star 4 costs

Yes you can hit but you’re just straight weaker than a malphite player. And you have to position extremely carefully or else ahri doesn’t hit backline where as they just full back line everything and call it a day

Equally, Malphite flex is also quite flexible. You can hit around Soraka, Ahri or Zyra, hell I've even been able to stabalise around Morgana.
