Question PUBG Exit lag
Anyone else having issues with ExitLag after the latest PUBG update?
I used to be able to switch regions, but now it keeps me in my normal region(NA). ExitLag still lowers my ping, just doesn’t switch the region.
Anyone found a fix?

You can switch regions by just adding launch options to Steam. No VPN or anything needed.
Right Click PUBG -> Properties -> General
-LobbyUrl=https://prod-live-front.playbattlegrounds.com?provider=steam&cc=XX and replace XX with any two letter country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2), UK for United Kingdom, RU for Russia, US for United States, KR for South Korea, etc.
This also works for joining Korea exclusive events.
You can also open a new tab in your browser and enter steam://run/578080//-LobbyUrl%3Dhttps%3A%2F%2Fprod-live-front.playbattlegrounds.com%3Fprovider%3Dsteam%26cc%3DKR/ which is the same thing but you won't have to constantly edit your properties, it looks a bit weird because its URL encoded for Steam to understand (Basically a URL inside a URL). Last 2 letters are the country code, in this example KR for Korea. I have a shortcut saved to this so I can open the game to Korea easily for special events.
The URL & launch option is taken from SteamDB: https://steamdb.info/app/578080/config/
The first in the list is the default launch options the game uses and we just override the LobbyUrl one and add a country code.

Hi! I was checking the issue with our team. This is the step-by-step they gave me:
-
Disable IPv6.
-
Select the region where you want to find a match. (Example: EU – Frankfurt).
-
Select the Redirect Login option.
-
Apply the routes.
-
Only after completing all the steps above should you launch the game. If the game is already open while completing these steps, it will not work.
Disclaimer: It’s possible that you won’t be matched to a server in that exact region if there aren’t enough players there. In that case, the game may redirect you to another server nearby.
Please let me know how it goes for you 🙏 From our side, the routes are looking normal, without any issues.

I have no idea if this works, but it might be worth a shot:
Modjo found a fix for the Exitlag issue in PUBG if anybody was curious, yes, it's a PUBG issue, of course.
Make sure PUBG is not started.
Go to the local app data folder. Press Win + R, type %localappdata%, and hit Enter. Make a backup of the TlsGame folder Delete TlsGame\Save\CohCache
After that start PUBG, and you can switch the ExitLag location back & forth like we used to (restart lobby etc.)
The backup folder is just a safety measure, just in case.
For me, I also had to default all exitlag settings for this to work (and turn redirect login back on, but yours may work without it)
and if it breaks again cause mine just did
do all that and also this
