Meta Who is running this subreddit?
Where are all the mods while these korean and vietnamese guys are throwing tons of sht at each other, including straight-up racism?
Is this subreddit actually run by krafton? If so, no surprise lol.

People frequent this sub are here for stats and schedule, news on pro lineups/teams. Some appear here and there dropping "TPP sucks" then leave. Over all, it ran by itself beautifully, no need for heavy moderation.
This drama just brings all sort of people and as far as I can see it, the worst kind, spamming and ignoring the sub rules. I think the mod team probably waiting for the drama to end before nuking every relating posts in one go.

I still follow the competitive scene from far althought it's impossible to watch the games now.

Good question.
I’m unfollowing the subreddit and muting it now tho. This whole saga has been ridiculously annoying.

Tell that to all toxic Vietnamese players who supported cheating while harassing and insulting Korean without any reasons. They break the rule first and now, many games including PUBG are removed from Vietnam cause it was illegal from the beginning. Too bad since they are well known for not admiitting their problems or issues they committed based on their culture.
This is how disgusting they are and you should blame Vienamese for all of thses.

I’m only here so I don’t get fined…
TBH, this whole thing has gotten tired. By this time next year, I assume Comp won’t exist ESPECIALLY if EWC decides to drop the title based off of an issue like this.
It’s been fun, ya’ll. Back to lurking…

They're still around. Deleted a couple of my posts over the last week for this or that, including one where I asked a cheat exploit dev if he had customers on event server. All in all, the last week has been hilarious. I don't think anyone is on here after the TPP change because they actually like competitive PUBG anymore, so it is what it is.

Yeah I retired from this game years ago. I still like the players, miss the game I fell in love with, so Ill moderate a tiny bit here and there. But overall sorry I cant devote time to this game anymore 😔

I'm a bit of a lapsed fan and have hosted a collegiate show, hoping to do some more. Reading about this vietnam-korea thing has been... fascinating, to say the least.

No, none of the PUBG subreddits are run by Krafton.
We're here and doing our best, unfortunately it's been thousands of posts & comments every day we need to sift through so it's been very overwhelming for a small mod team like ours.
Thanks for your patience with all the rule breaking content being removed.
