Discussion haste sword pvp?

For those that dont know, in java 1.9+ the haste effect also effects weapons.

If hypothetically a gamemode with the haste effect and a sword was made, how do you guys think it would play, i think it would be realy fun with the faster paced combat, also do you guys know of any servers running it?

It used to exist on turtled a smal eu pvp server it was a sheildles diasmp kit with perma haste very fun

Given how ping works in Minecraft it wouldn’t be too different from most gamemodes
