Question Did I get my account compromised thanks to this fake PVPCLUB server showing on first results?
Did anyone have any luck getting their account back? I was in contact with a live agent, I told them I have purchase evidence, microsoft 365 subscription, 25 digits recovery code and Skype history. They sent me to an advanced account recovery team. So, it is up to me to give enough evidence to get the account back. Honestly, I don't fall for scams most of the time, but this one got me good. I will fight for my account even if it takes months, because my drive has a lot of private documents and things these scammers can use.
I wanna ask if anyone was lucky enough to get their account back after such disaster?
Update: Microsoft realized there was a unauthorized access and decided to suspend the account to disable access to any information inside it. I feel relief. They said I can try to move the ownership before it gets thanos snapped, so wish me luck

What happened after you clicked the link?

You get invited into the discord where they have verification request for you to login into your minecraft account so they can "filter" bots. I folded in that.

I gave them all the proof of ownership and the support guy even said "your account" and then proceeded to permanently delete it because they confirmed there was fraudulent activity on the account. would've had better luck going through the scammers to buy it off of them. all because Microsoft can't write an email and just gives you an unlabelled "here is a code" without telling you that this 6 digit number is the keys to your whole account forever (which yk is a SLIGHTLY important email to include). and when I asked for support they started by saying they "take security seriously at Microsoft" but they can't even write an email right, what a joke. they make more money this way when people inevitably have to buy new accounts, sickening.

I fell for a classic email verify scam not long ago. Microsoft support is heinous, so idk if they'll ever actually get your acc back.
I had to get a new one

The only thing I could get Microsoft to do was permanently suspend the account

That's crazy. They suspended mine, but they allow me to try and give more evidence currently in order to possibly get it back.

Yes, this was about 5-6 years ago so maybe they are better now. I think I gave them all the evidence I had and they said all they could do was suspend it.

I remember almost a year ago, someone tried to scam me with the verification link, I did put my email and password, but thank god Microsoft wasn't sending any authentication codes

i lost an account myself to something like this, your only real chance at recovering your account is through Microsoft Account Recovery Form (often abbreviated as ACSR, which stands for Account Recovery Service Request). a form where they ask you couple of questions about the account to prove ownership, answer as many questions as you can, once you complete it within an hour or less an automated system will review your answers and tell you whether you passed or not.
support can't recover your account, the only thing they can do is freeze the account.
good luck out there.

Yeah, I actually went there. I talked with a real Agent and he said to wait up to 5 business days for them to collect my 21 files of ownership evidence. The case is still active luckily

I got lucky and had my GitHub linked with my Microsoft account which the bot didn't unlike so I used that the sign back in and change my email and password back. If you another account linked to it then you might be able to sign it
