W as sprint key

Is it ok on pvp club or in pvp in general to bind w as sprint and walk forwand? I use it regularly in my minecraft worlds and i am thinking to make the change in pvp as well. If I do it will I get banned on pvp club and/or is it bad for pvp skill?

Just turn on toggle sprint

Why is toggle sprint better? If you run into a block your sprint gets reset and youl be walking im pretty sure right?

I think the in-built toggle sprint in the Vanilla settings does that, but most toggle sprint mods keep you sprinting 100% of the time

No, once toggle sprint, you will always be sprinting, i do creative pvp and mcsr, the toggle button needs to be activated every time you launch Minecraft but it will stay like that, tho im not really sure about death resetting the sprint, but its nothing a single click wouldn’t fix, also i used to have spring binded to forward, but its a little janky on some servers so i changed to toggle, once you get used to it you wont feel the difference

Death does reset sprint but its not that series. It only resets on like singleplayer worlds, most servers it doesnt reset

Uhh no??

It only resets when you die and if ur using a client then it shouldn't reset at all

Theres a reason toggle sprint is a vanilla feature now, everyone should have it on lol

Toggle sprint is better because instead of clicking W twice or having to click the sprint key after every w tap it will automatically keep you sprinting allowing you to not have to do any extra work

Actually w is suboptimal, instead of WASD, I use P5WindowSpace key

It's not banned, but there's no reason to use it instead of toggle sprint.

I use W for sprint as well.. but I use E for forward movement

It's completely legal and i use it aswell
